In pitches it’s not enough to be fair, smart, and competitive. Clients see plenty of agencies, and I can tell you they don’t remember much from presentations. To stand out and avoid being confused, I always look for markers beyond the content.<\/p>\n
And so, here I am, in a pitch for a beautiful, chic and trendy women’s lingerie brand, with a killer hook\u2026 THE demo that the competitors surely won’t have thought of: “Look, the AI will create a chic and trendy slogan for us live!”<\/p>\n
I proudly type the prompt. A few seconds later, the AI delivers with confidence: “YOUR GRANDMOTHER WOULD HAVE LOVED THESE UNDERWEAR!”<\/em><\/p>\n The stunned silence in the room. The marketing team (under 30) stares at me as if I were dancing the tango with their mother. My giant screen still proudly displays this slight drift. Hmm.<\/p>\n I try again: “Something more\u2026 modern?”<\/p>\n The AI raises the stakes: “MAXIMAL COMFORT FOR YOUR ACTIVITIES IN RETIREMENT!”<\/em><\/p>\n My last-minute rescue:<\/strong> “See! The AI is showing us exactly what NOT to do! It’s… anti-inspiration!”<\/p>\n In the meantime, the marketing team was rolling with laughter. That’s something as a marker, at least. Well, as a winning marker, not sure\u2026<\/p>\n Lesson learned:<\/strong> Apparently, my search history for the “retirement home” campaign last month slightly influenced the algorithm… \u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/p>\n AI is powerful, but it can sometimes remember things that make creative connections.
