In Germany, BCN has just launched Signals Agent: the advertiser simply describes the audience they want to reach, and AI automatically builds the targeting, compares it to the available signals, and activates a programmatic deal.
Example: “I want to reach high-income individuals who are interested in electric mobility and buying a premium vehicle.”
The agent identifies the relevant segments, estimates reach and price, and then launches the campaign. More than 1,500 audience and contextual signals are mobilized, drawn from consented profiles from over 50 German domains.
It isn’t yet a revolution everywhere, but it’s exactly the direction I find interesting: faster, shorter processes, and more focused on the human added value — the brief, the judgment, the strategy and the guardrails.
Less time spent fiddling with interfaces. More time to decide why, for whom and with what meaning we communicate.
The real question for us marketers: will we be able to describe our target, our context and our guardrails clearly enough for an AI to execute without drifting?
