Adapting a Campaign Means Redoing It

It used to be true. Yesterday. Changing country, language, format, season: each time a new shoot, a new budget, a new deadline.

Back then, brands would give up. A campaign for everyone — lukewarm for each.

Today, we capture once and decline it infinitely. The same idea in twenty languages, in ten formats, for each market, as accurately as possible, without reshooting everything.

This isn’t a penny-pinching economy. It’s the end of the compromise: finally speaking to everyone in their language without ruining anyone.

My view: localization is no longer a cost, it’s a power. Tomorrow, strong brands won’t be those who say one thing to all, but those who say the right thing to each person.
